Below, my assignment was to choose a color relationship between any three colors. I wanted to incorporate the analogous relationship of blues, violets, and red-violets. Personally, these colors make me feel a sense of solace, wonder, and identity. Overall, I choose to put these colors together because I am drawn to the neon lights I see at night when I’m in the city. I feel at ease and my most happy when I’m able to walk around at night and see not only the stars in the sky but cars that drive by. It is a very stimulating feeling. According to color psychology, blue evokes a sense of calmness and depth while purple evokes mystery and spirituality.
